Adam Esrick was born in Boulder, Colorado and moved to Phoenix, Arizona when he was 3 years old Adam has been playing guitar since age 10, and began songwriting at the age of 15.
As a sophomore in high school, Adam was diagnosed with lower lumbar spinal stenosis, a congenital disease that crushes the nerves in his spine. He underwent surgery and continues to receive annual steroid shots. Music and songwriting have been a positive way for Adam to cope with his pain, and his lyrics are often reflective of someone much more mature than this 21 year old musician.
Influenced by Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters, Adam regularly plays in the Phoenix metropolitan area with seasoned musicians and performs solo shows and corporate gigs. He was recently a featured performer on Songwriters’ Showcase XI, recorded at the Tempe Center for the Arts.
